MILAIDHOO
Milaidhoo: Welcome
Pared down and unflashy, Milaidhoo excels in providing a sense of place, without skimping on luxury. This Maldivian-owned resort will win you over with an intimate island atmosphere and well-considered private pool villas.
LOCATION

The 35-minute seaplane transfer to the hotel is nothing short of mesmerising. Your nose will be glued to the windows as the plane glides through a collection of aquamarine atolls, seemingly carved atop a glistening sea and embraced by the lapping white waves of the Indian Ocean. You may even spot a rainbow or two. The aircraft stops on water just short of arriving at the island, and you’ll then take a five-minute boat ride to the jetty.
ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is divided into two main categories: Water Pool villas and Beach Pool villas; additional options include larger Beach Residences and Ocean Residences.
All villas offer: a large private freshwater pool on the sun deck; a hanging Maldivian swing (‘undhoali’); an outsize day bed; air conditioning and ceiling fan; ocean views; tea and coffee machine; oversized minibar; private wine fridge; flatscreen satellite TV; en suite bathroom with soaking tub and separate rain-shower; a full range of luxury toiletries.
FACILITIES

There's everything you need here - if what you need is a choice of restaurants and bar, a spa, and plenty of peace and quiet. The pool at Compass Bar is equipped with umbrellas and plenty of deck chairs, and is the best spot to watch the sunset. There’s also a games room with pool tables. The dive centre also offers snorkelling lessons, dolphin cruises, manta ray excursions, along with night-time diving.
